Docker Connects With Series B Venture Capital

   San Francisco, California  --  Software technology company Docker has garnered $15 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Docker is the company behind the open-source Docker project, which aims to "change the world for developers and operations professionals in a powerful, efficient and scalable way."

Greylock Partners led the round, which also included Insight Venture Partners, Benchmark Capital, Trinity Ventures and Yahoo founder Jerry Yang.

The company said it would use the funding for product development and building out its commercial channels.
