ARM Launches Internet of Things Platform

   Cambridge, UK  --  Semiconductor technology company ARM has announced the launch of a new initiative to accelerate the Internet of Things technology adoption.

Called the ARM mbed IoT Device Platform, the system is composed of a software platform and free operating system intended to simplify the creation and deployment of Internet of Things products.

The platform has been built using open standards and intends to bring Internet protocols and security into one integrated solution.

The company says the platform will accelerate the growth of the Internet of Things "by enabling innovators to focus on value-add features and differentiation."
