Castlight Touts Lower Costs From Platform

   San Francisco, California  --  Castlight Health (NYSE: CSLT) highlighted a new study that associated the use of its software platform with lower costs.

Focusing on three common medical services, the study concluded that costs were 14% lower for laboratory tests and 13% lower for advanced imaging.

Researchers analyzed over 500,000 employee claims between 2010 and 2013.

The study showed that claims payments were lower for all services examined for employees who used Castlight versus employees who did not use it to search for care.
