Pottstown, Pennsylvania  --  Public safety information technology company CODY Systems announced that it will debut its updated flagship system later this week at the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference.

The system, called COBRA.net, provides police with real-time one-stop tactical search capabilities.

The latest update provides text message alerts and enhanced reporting via its network of state and local information sources aggregating hundreds of millions of records and target entity identification.

The system will also provide support for handling data from sensors and Internet-aware devices, the so-called Internet of Things.
