Leerink Partners Launches Digital Health Coverage

   Boston, Massachusetts  --  Investment banking firm Leerink Partners has announced the launch of digital health sector research coverage.

The firm describes digital health as the "convergence of the healthcare system with digital technology to empower the consumer, take healthcare outside the institution to where the patient is and when the patient needs care and automate the workflows of healthcare workers."

Steven Wardell, vice president of the firm's equity research team, will lead the coverage effort.

Initial companies covered include Castlight Health, Everyday Health, Imprivata, Veeva Systems, Wageworks and WebMD.
