   Austin, Texas  --  Internet company Flocasts has secured $8 million in venture capital investment.

Flocasts is a digital media company that "enables people to connect and engage in the sports and sports communities they love."

Causeway Media Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

Specific proceeds purposes were not disclosed by the company.
