Minneapolis, Minnesota  --  Polaris Defense has announced the launch of a new ultra-light combat vehicle.

Unveiled at the 2014 Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting, the vehicle, called DAGOR, was designed in under two years and is rated to carry 3,250 pounds of payload or a nine-man infantry squad via a modular, lightweight platform that can support a variety of expeditionary missions.

The vehicle uses a variety of commercial off-the-shelf components and its width enables it to be quickly loaded into the CH-47 Chinook platform without modification.

The low weight of the vehicle will also allow it to be sling loaded under a standard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.
