Meetinvest Launches Financial Social Media Site

   London, UK  --  Internet technology company meetinvest has announced the launch of its free financial social media platform in the UK.

The service was founded in August 2014 by two Switzerland-based entrepreneurs who wished to remove the barriers to investing by simplifying investment strategies of "global investment gurus, including Buffet, Graham, O'Neil and Templeton."

The site tracks 68,000 stocks from around the world each day and applies algorithms to develop strategies for different members. The system then shows each member which stocks meet their desired strategy.

Meetinvest says the service act like a "financial Facebook", enabling users from around the world to exchange ideas about investing in all types of assets, not just stocks and bonds.

The company cited research that showed "45% of UK adults find the stock market and information available to them as confusing", when explaining the need for a simplified research service.
