CareLuLu Collects Expansion Venture Capital

   Washington, DC  --  Internet technology company CareLuLu has received $1.7 million in venture capital investment.

CareLuLu is developing an online service that makes it easier for parents to find a preschool or day care service that fits their needs.

Khosla Ventures led the round, which also included CrunchFund, The Startup Factory and 500 Startups.

The company said the funding would be used to expand its service to new markets outside of Washington DC.

CareLuLu was previously in the 500 Startups acceleration program.
