Edge Therapeutics Raises $8 Million Venture Capital

   Berkeley Heights, New Jersey  --  Biotechnology company Edge Therapeutics has raised nearly $8 million in venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Edge wants to develop treatments to prevent secondary brain damage after hemorrhagic stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Edge is still seeking $17 million in additional financing, in $10,000 minimum investment increments.
