HealthTap Introduces Top Doctor Insights

   Palo Alto, California  --  Health question-and-answer site HealthTap has announced the launch of a new personalized medical information service.

Called Top Doctor Insights, the service uses artificial intelligence to provide easily digestible lists of doctor insights on millions of health and wellness topics.

The lists are curated and rated by the site's network of 64,000 US-based doctors and include broad categories such as diabetes and cancer as well as more specific, long-tail searches such as "healthy snacks for traveling abroad."

HealthTap says it has served up more than 2.2 billion doctor answers to visitors.

The company is venture capital-backed by top-tier investors and its most recent financing round was a $24 million Series B completed in May 2013.

Top Doctor Insights is available to users free of charge.
