Panduit Launches Non-Battery UPS System

   Tinley Park, Illinois  --  Panduit Corp. has announced the launch of a new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

The Panduit Industrial Network UPS does not use a battery, rather it uses ultracapacitor technology that provides 2X greater ROI and 50% - 70% lower cost of ownership than an ordinary UPS system, according to the company.

The technology can be remotely managed using standard web browsers in addition to Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View Faceplates

The UPS was designed specifically to back up industrial managed Ethernet switches.
