MakerBot Launches 3D Design Apps Portal

   Brooklyn, New York  --  3D printing technology company MakerBot has announced the launch of a new application platform.

Called the MakerBot-Ready Apps Portal, the site provides a single home for 3D designs, educational content, characters and games designed to work with MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers.

The apps are part of the MakerBot Developer Program started earlier in 2014 by the company.

MakerBot highlighted a number of apps already included in the portal, but did not say how many total apps are now hosted.
