First Opinion Gets First VC Financing

   San Francisco, California  --  Internet technology company First Opinion has landed $6 million in its first round of VC financing.

First Opinion provides an online service that matches patients with doctors.

Polaris Partners led the round, which included True Ventures, Felicis Ventures, Scrum Ventures and Monashees Capital.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its network of doctors and grow internal infrastructures.
