Nashville, Tennessee  --  Automobile manufacturer Nissan has announced the launch of a new self-cleaning automobile technology.

Called nano-paint, the advanced material included in the Ultra-Ever Dry paint helps to repel almost any liquid that comes into contact with it.

Nissan is launching the technology via its LEAF electric hybrid automobile.

The LEAF gets up to a maximum of 114 combined MPGe miles and can be charged up to 80% of its full capacity and 30 minutes when equipped with an optional quick charge port and using a fast charger.
