Red Hat And Hortonworks Expand Alliance

   Palo Alto, CA  --  Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) and Hortonworks have announced the expansion of their relationship across a range of initiatives.

The two companies have deepened their alliance by integrating certain product lines, developed joint marketing initiatives and collaborate on customer support.

Hortonworks is an important contributor to enterprise Apache Hadoop open source software.
