Cornerstone Pharma Raises Venture Capital Debt

   Cranbury, New Jersey  --  Cornerstone Pharmaceuticals has secured $3.3 million in venture capital debt investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Cornerstone is focused on developing innovative cancer therapies that exploit metabolic pathways that are common to different cancer types but different from normal cells.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Cornerstone is still seeking approximately $4.2 million in additional debt financing, according to the filing.
