SanDance Launches OrthoSecure Implant Verification

   Princeton, NJ  --  SanDance Technology announced the commercial launch of its implant security system.

Called OrthoSecure, the system reads the barcodes on implant box labels during surgery and verifies that each part is compatible with patient needs.

The web-based application performs a number of other checks and also communicates with electronic medical records repositories and inventory control systems.
