Clean Jobs Illinois Publishes Survey Results

   Chicago, Illinois  --  A consortium of survey partners has published what it calls the first-ever comprehensive study of the Illinois clean energy industry.

According to the study, 96,875 people currently work in the clean energy sector in the state.

40% of Illinois clean energy businesses reported that they plan to hire more workers in 2014, resulting in an expected job growth rate of 9%.

The survey said that the clean energy sector accounted for more employment than the combined total of real estate professionals and accountants.
