Luxtera Secures $37 Million Equity Financing

   Carlsbad, California  --  Semiconductor technology company Luxtera has raised $37.4 million in new venture capital funding, according to an SEC filing.

Luxtera has developed technology that enables what it calls a new breed of monolithic opto-electronic devices manufactured in a low-cost CMOS process.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use proceeds.

Luxtera is still seeking $812,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.
