NeuroPhage Pharmaceuticals Nabs New Venture Capital

Cambridge, Massachusetts -- NeuroPhage Pharmaceuticals has raised $17 million in its Series D round of venture capital investment.

NeuroPhage is developing a protein disaggregation platform for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed by the company in its press release.

NeuroPhage said it would use the financing to progress on an "IND-enabling for NPT088 and prepare for the clinical evaluation of a completely new approach to treat devastating neurological diseases."
