Aliso Viejo, CA  --  Ambry Genetics has announced the launch of two new clinical exome sequencing assays.

Called ExomeNext and ExomeNext-Rapid, the assays provide whole exome sequencing in as little as 2-5 week turnaround times.

The company says that its high diagnostic rate is due to an internal database of characterized and disease-causing genes.

Further, it said that 23% of its positive findings are from newly characterized genes that were described within the last two years.
