Beepi Collects $5 Million Series A Venture Capital

   Los Altos, California  --  Internet company Beepi has secured $5 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Beepi aims to change the way cars are bought and sold "in a way that's economically rewarding and emotionally uplifting."

Redpoint Ventures led the round, which also included Silicon Valley Bank and individual investors.

The company said it will add employees to improve its technology and scale operations.
