Placester Nets $8 Million Venture Capital Funds

   Boston, MA  --  Internet company Placester has received $8.2 million in new venture capital financing, according to an SEC filing.

Placester provides a variety of listing, analytics and related services to help real estate companies advertise.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Placester is still seeking $1.4 million in additional financing, according to the financing.
