Brandcast Banks More Angel Investment

   Sam Francisco, California  --  Internet technology company Brandcast has raised $1.5 million in additional private investor funding.

Brandcast is developing technologies that enable businesses to "achieve total web coverage with publishing, messaging and analytics across websites, mobile, social and other channels."

Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff made the investment.  He has previously invested in the company.

Brandcast did not say how it would use the funding proceeds.
