Breathe California Celebrates Clean Air Awards

   San Francisco, California  --  Breathe California gave awards for climate change policies to six individuals, groups and organizations.

According to the WHO, the single greatest environmental health risk is now air pollution, claiming one in eight deaths worldwide.

The awards honored: SF Environment, City of Richmond/MCE Clean Energy, Eric Mar, Youth for Environment and Sustainability, SOL Inc. and Bay Area Bike Share.

The awards were presented in front of 200 environmental leaders and featured keynote speaker climate scientist Mark Jacobson of Stanford University.
