Kite Pharma Collects $50 Million Venture Capital Equity

   Santa Monica, California  --  Kite Pharma has secured $50 million in new venture capital financing, according to a company statement.

Kite is developing immune-based therapies to treat different cancer indications.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed in the press release.

The company said it would use the proceeds to advance its programs developing novel cancer immunotherapy products treating hematological malignancies and solid tumors.
