New Relic Nabs $100 Million Growth Capital

   San Francisco, California  --  Software technology company New Relic has secured $100 million in new venture capital financing.

New Relic has created a subscription-based Rails Performance Management system that enables developers to fix application performance problems in real time.

BlackRock and Passport Capital led the round, which also included T. Rowe Price and Wellington Management.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate its growth stage momentum on a global basis.
