BitPay Announces European Headquarters Opening

   Amsterdam  --  Bitcoin digital currency service company BitPay has announced the opening of its European headquarters in Amsterdam.

The office will provide merchant support, implementation and sales efforts for the company's existing 7,000 merchants located in Europe.

BitPay says that its goal for Europe is to expand its customer base to 30,000 by the end of 2014.

Concurrent with the announcement, the company unveiled a new brand identity and plans to exhibit at the NextWeb conference on April 24 - 25.
