Microsoft and Xamarin Partner on Foundation

   San Francisco, California  --  Microsoft and Xamarin have announced a partnership to support the newly established .NET Foundation.

The purpose of the Foundation is to foster development and collaboration for an increase in collection of open source technologies related to .NET.

As of its founding, the foundation will have 25 .NET open source projects under its stewardship including the ASP.NET family of open source projects.

Xamarin is contributing six projects to the foundation.
