Crown Bioscience Secures Series D Venture Capital

   Santa Clara, California  --  Biomedical technology company Crown Bioscience has garnered $26.6 million in its fourth round of institutional venture capital funding.

Crown is a US-based biomedical outsourcing company for global biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Lilly Asia Ventures led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.  Lilly is affiliated with pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Co.

Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
