Lookout Adds Mobile Theft Alerts

   San Francisco, California  --  Mobile security technology company Lookout has announced the addition of new functionality to its flagship consumer product.

Called Theft Alerts, the capability provides users with contextual alerts anytime suspicious activity occurs on their mobile device, since thieves take common actions moments after stealing a phone.

Lookout says that nearly 70% of phone theft victims currently do not get their phone back.

The application as part of its Lookout Mobile Security consumer product and is available on both the Android and iOS mobile platforms.
