Loxo Oncology Garners Series B Venture Capital

   Stamford, Connecticut  --  Biotechnology company Loxo Oncology has secured $24 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Loxo is developing targeted cancer therapies for genetically defined patient populations.

New Enterprise Associates led the round, which included previous investors Aisling Capital and OrbiMed Advisors.

The company said it would use the funding to advance its lead asset LOXO-101.
