ChargePoint Nets $22 Million Venture Capital Equity

   Campbell, California  --  Electric vehicle charging company ChargePoint has secured $22.6 million in new venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

ChargePoint manufactures charging solutions for electric vehicles and says it has the largest online charging network in the world.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

ChargePoint is still seeking $4.4 million in additional equity financing, according to the regulatory filing.

The company operates charging networks in 14 countries.
