Red Hat Launches Enterprise Linux 7

   Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Open source technology company Red Hat (NYSE: RHAT) has announced the launch of the latest version of its Linux platform.

Called Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, the new system "lays the foundation for the open hybrid cloud and serves enterprise workloads across converged infrastructures."

The latest version provides enhanced application development, delivery, portability across a variety of physical, virtual and cloud deployment environments.

New technologies include Linux Containers and related Docker software for large enterprise environments.
