WP Engine Launches Innovation Development Labs

   San Francisco, California  --  Content management platform WP Engine has announced the launch of a new innovation initiative.

Called WP Engine Labs, the program aims to contribute to the open source community and serve as the innovation wing of the company's product suite.

The group will employ full-time open source contributors and developers to provide alpha stage prototypes of innovations for its customers.

WP Engine highlighted its first innovation success, S3 Mirror, which promises to enable mirroring of WP Engine hosted websites to the S3 AWS storage service.
