Dollar Shave Club Nets More Venture Capital

Venice, California -- Consumer ecommerce company Dollar Shave Club has secured $1.16 million in new venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Dollar Shave offers a monthly subscription service for grooming supplies for men.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Dollar Shave is backed by a large syndicate of venture capital firms.
