CSC Launches Data Platform As A Service

   Falls Church, Virginia  --  IT technology company CSC (NYSE: CSC) has announced the launch of a suite of data platform services.

Called Big Data Platform as a Service, the offering promises to enable public sector agencies and enterprises to launch a variety of cloud architectures within 30 days or less.

The system utilizes open source software from Amazon, RedHat, VMware and its own in-house developed cloud solutions.

CSC cited a recent report from IDC forecasting the growth of big data services to $32.4 billion in 2017.
