DisplayLink Launches New Dual-Head Chipset

   Palo Alto, California  --  USB graphics technology company DisplayLink has announced the launch of a new addition to its DL-5000 chipset family.

The DL-5900 USB 3.0 dual-head chipset provides support for 4K resolution, Gigabit Ethernet and integrated audio.

The dual-head functionality enables users to connect dual displays up to 2048 x 1152 resolution, or other 4K combinations.

The system's algorithms dynamically adjust compression based on a variety of factors such as bandwidth, link status and throughput.
