Gild Grabs Series B Venture Capital Funding

   San Francisco, California  --  Internet technology company Gild has landed $13.5 million in its second round of venture capital financing.

Gild has developed software that "exists to map the world's talent" and reinvent hiring by increasing automation, collaboration and data-based intelligence.

Menlo Ventures led the round, which also included Baseline Ventures, Draper Nexus, Globespan Capital Partners, SAP Ventures, Correlation Ventures and individual investor Mark Kvamme of Drive Capital.

The company said it would use the financing to scale its business and continue product development.
