Norton Security To Update Consumer Security Products

   Mountain View, California  --  The Norton Security suite of security applications announced an upcoming update to its consumer security offerings.

Among the changes, the next edition of Norton Security will move completely to the cloud, provide a multilayered approach to threats that goes beyond the scope of basic antivirus and provide options to backup photos, movies and memories to an off-site location.

The pre-release software is available now for free download.

Norton Security, which is a division of Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC), will provide pricing information in the fall.
