Apple and IBM Team On Mobility Apps

   Cupertino and Armonk  --  Apple and IBM have announced a global partnership for mobile application development.

The partnership aims to "address key industry mobility challenges and spark to mobile-led business change" in four areas:

- 100 industry-specific enterprise solutions for iPhone and iPad

- IBM cloud services optimized for the Apple iOS platform.

- AppleCare service and support tailored to the enterprise

- New offerings from IBM for device activation, supply management.

As part of the deal, IBM will also sell iPhones and iPads to business clients worldwide.
