Conversocial Collects Series A Venture Capital

   New York, New York  --  Internet technology company Conversocial has secured $5 million in its first round of institutional venture capital financing.

Conversocial has developed online technologies that enable companies to better use social media to improve their customer service.

Octopus Investments led the round, which also included DFJ Esprit and individual investors.

The company said the funding proceeds would be used for expansion across North America and additional product development.
