Visa Opens Payments Innovation Center

   San Francisco, California  --  Payment technology company Visa (NYSE: V) has announced the opening of a new payments innovation center in San Francisco.

Called One Market, the center totals 112,000 ft.² of office space at One Market Street in San Francisco and aims to attract technologists, clients, partners and the financial Bay Area tech community to develop next-generation commerce applications.

Visa says the centerpiece of the new center will be the ability for interested parties to interact with Visa subject-matter experts in areas such as mobile, security and cloud-based technologies.

Visa also announced concurrently the launch of a new online payment service called Visa Checkout.
