DICOM Grid Claims $6 Million Venture Capital

   Phoenix, Arizona  --  IT company DICOM Grid has raised $6 million in a new round of venture capital funding.

DICOM has created a cloud-based platform that makes it easier for healthcare facilities to process and share medical imaging records.

Canaan Partners led the round, which also included the Mayo Clinic and others.

DICOM said it will use the proceeds to continue product development and integration with radiology and electronic health records systems.
