Denver, Colorado  --  Wearable imaging company Pivothead said that it will demonstrate its electronic eyewear at the upcoming Wearable Tech Expo in New York City.

The company has developed what it calls SMART - Simple Modular Application-Ready Technology - a line of eyewear that provides video and photo capture capability.

SMART features 1080p high-definition video and 8 megapixel photo capture built on the company's first generation system, Smart Mods.

Pivothead said the line will officially launch in the fall of 2014 and has provided a software development kit (SDK) to developers that enables a range of live streaming applications and tethering technologies.
