Cardiac Insight Sees $7 Million Venture Capital

   Bellevue, Washington  --  Medical technology company Cardiac Insight has secured $7 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Cardiac Insight is developing what it calls "advanced body worn sensing and computing technologies for applications in cardiology, respiratory and other complex disease states."

Welch Allyn led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the financing to continue product development and accelerated sales initiatives.
