HeadSmart Labs Launches To Reduce Head Injuries

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  HeadSmart Labs has announced it's official launch to advance research that will aid in preventing head and neck injuries sustained during helmet sport activities.

The purpose of the effort will be to develop products, procedures and testing devices to reduce the number of concussions to athletes.

The company cited American Medical Society for Sports Medicine statistics indicating that as many as 3.8 million concussions occur in the United States each year from competitive sports.

HeadSmart will focus on promoting standards for helmets, understanding how helmets should be worn in determining the optimal pressures which helmets should be inflated.
