Roambotics Lands Hardware Cool Idea Award

   Maple Plain, Minnesota  --  Electronic robot technology company Roambotics said that it has received the Proto Labs Cool Idea Award.

The company received the award for its autonomous personal robot named "Jr.".

The robot, shaped in the form of a wheel, moves independently through a home or workplace to capture video and still images.

The first production run of devices will operate through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to connect to the cloud.
