Doctor On Demand Sees $21 Million Series A

   San Francisco, California  --  Software technology company Doctor On Demand has secured $21 million in its first round of venture capital investment.

The company is developing a medical care platform and physician network that enables patients to contact and interact with their doctor.

Venrock led the round, which also included Shasta Ventures and private investor Richard Branson.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its team, build its network of physicians and add new capabilities.
